- Frequently Asked Questions -

Am I obligated to order my prints through Up Photography?

Absolutely not. While our photography packages can all be customized to include prints, we always provide a high-resolution digital copy of your images, so that you can print your aerial, drone or real estate photos anywhere you'd like and as many times as you'd like.

How long after the shoot will it be before I receive my Images?

We always aim to have the post-production work complete and the images sent to you within 5 business days of the shoot. For real estate photography shoots, we can have a digital copy of those photos sent within 24 hours.

Is there anything I can do to prepare the property?

It is definitely advisable to have a nice clean yard on the day of the shoot. Things lying around such as toys, equipment or supplies can detract from the natural beauty of the landscape. It is also recommended that cars be removed from the driveway by parking them in the garage or at least 100 meters down the street. Though not necessary, having a freshly mowed lawn can also add to the visual appeal of your aerial photos.

Is it possible to have certain items 'photoshopped' out of my photo?

Yes. In most cases it is possible for us to remove unwanted items (i.e. debris, power lines, etc.) upon request. Click here for more information on our photo enhancements.

What are the limitations of drone photography?

The drone, or remote controlled quad-copter, is capable of capturing photos from altitudes of several hundred feet. There are, however, regulations stipulating the use of drones near airports and over crowds of people, as outline by Transport Canada. We would be more than happy to advise you if the location you are looking to have photographed with the drone would be limited by these Transport Canada regulations.

Do you require a deposit?

A 20% deposit is required for aerial photography shoots only. For all other photo shoots, payment is not required until after the shoot has been completed.

When is the rest of my payment due?

Once your areial, real estate or drone photography shoot is complete, we will send you an invoice for the final payment via email. Payment is due within two weeks from the time you receive the invoice.

What forms of payment do you accept?

We accept Visa, MasterCard, personal and certified cheques as well as email money transfers.
